After all that flying backwards and forwards to the North Pole, our elf has booked himself a spa break! 🛁
He’s stretched out in a tiny bath with his duck, towel and cucumber mask, surrounded by fluffy pretend bubbles. The note beside him says “Elf spa. Please whisper.” Apparently even elves need five minutes of peace.
This easy elf idea makes a sweet little bathroom surprise. Everything stays dry, so your elf can enjoy his bath without getting his felt clothes soggy.
What you’ll need:
- One official Elf on the Shelf doll (paid link)
- The official S’elf Care Spa Set (paid link) (mini bath, towel, cucumber mask and rubber duck)
- A few tufts of cotton wool for pretend bubbles
- A little note saying “Elf spa. Please whisper.”
Setup:
Sit your elf inside the empty bath and bend his legs so they fit comfortably. Add a little dry cotton wool around him, drape the supplied towel over the rim and tuck the duck nearby. Push the cucumber mask up onto his hat brim if you want the children to see his face. Rest his mittens on the edge, then leave the bath and note on a clear bathroom shelf or vanity. The bath can stay completely empty of water.
Make it cheaply:
Use a clean yoghurt pot, a small bowl or an empty plastic food tub as the bath. Add dry cotton wool, a scrap of flannel for the towel and a duck borrowed from the bath toys. Cut two green paper circles and stick them onto a paper strip for a pretend cucumber mask.
